Automate calculations using Numeric, Monetary, and Date fields—perfect for renewals, lead scoring, commissions, and timeline automation.
Businesses often rely on calculations to manage lead scores, subscription periods, commissions, balances, renewal dates, follow-up schedules, and customer milestones. Performing these calculations manually can create errors and consume valuable time.
BizStackPro's Math Operation workflow action allows businesses to automatically update numeric, monetary, and date fields as contacts move through workflows, ensuring records stay accurate without manual intervention.
Without automated calculations, businesses may struggle with inconsistent data, outdated timelines, reporting inaccuracies, missed deadlines, or workflow decisions based on incorrect information.
This guide explains how the Math Operation workflow action works, what field types are supported, and how to build smarter automation systems using calculated values inside BizStackPro.
Before performing automated calculations, it helps to understand how custom fields, workflow triggers, numeric values, monetary tracking, date management, conditional logic, and business automation processes work together inside BizStackPro.
The Math Operation action lets you perform automated calculations inside a workflow. You can run arithmetic on Numeric and Monetary fields, or adjust Date fields by adding time—so your records stay accurate without manual updates.
Use cases: rolling totals, balances, thresholds, renewal dates, follow-up scheduling, and “next action” timelines.
Select Field: Choose the Numeric, Monetary, or Date field you want to calculate from.
Operation: Choose the calculation (or date adjustment) you want to perform.
Value / Input: Enter the number of units (or the numeric value) used in the operation.
Update Field: Choose where the result should be stored (same field type required).
Tip: If you need multiple steps (example: calculate a total, then apply a discount), chain multiple Math Operation actions in sequence.
If you subtract from a numeric score and it goes below zero, BizStackPro will output 0. Use this to keep scores and counters clean without extra guardrails.
Math Operation removes manual math from your workflows so your totals, dates, and field values stay consistent—without spreadsheets.
Opens in a new tab.
Math Operation supports only Numeric, Monetary, and Date field types.
Yes. They can be the same or different, but both fields must be the same field type.
If the output value is negative, BizStackPro replaces it with zero (0).
No. Negative values are not supported for Date or Current Date calculations.
No. Each Math Operation action performs one calculation. For multiple calculations, add multiple Math Operation actions in sequence.
When your numeric totals and dates update automatically, everything downstream works better—conditions, routing, reminders, and reporting.
Automate totals. Automate timelines.
