Build flexible, behavior-driven automations using conditional logic with If/Else workflow branching.
Customer journeys rarely follow a single path. Different contacts have different behaviors, appointment statuses, engagement levels, purchase histories, and communication preferences that require different responses.
BizStackPro's If/Else workflow action allows businesses to create conditional automation paths that automatically route contacts based on data, behaviors, timing, and predefined conditions.
Without conditional workflow logic, businesses may send irrelevant messages, create poor customer experiences, duplicate workflows unnecessarily, or struggle to personalize automation at scale.
This guide explains how the If/Else workflow action works, how conditional branching affects workflow behavior, and how to build more intelligent automation systems inside BizStackPro.
Before creating conditional workflow paths, it helps to understand how contact data, workflow triggers, branching logic, appointment conditions, segmentation, and customer journey automation work together inside BizStackPro.
The If/Else workflow action lets you create multiple conditional paths inside a workflow. Contacts route down different branches depending on whether your conditions are met—making your automations adaptive based on behavior, contact data, timing, or appointment activity.
You can combine conditions using And / Or logic, use Scenario Recipes for faster setup, and build appointment-based decision paths without duplicating workflows.
Good to know: You can create up to 10 branches in a single If/Else action. If your logic is growing into a monster, splitting into multiple smaller workflows is usually easier to maintain.
If/Else can dynamically branch based on appointment activity, such as:
Important: Appointment conditions require an appointment-related trigger to be active in the workflow.
Tip: If you’re seeing contacts go down the “wrong” branch, reorder branches and tighten conditions so the most specific logic evaluates first.
Don’t skip this: Always build a clean None branch so contacts still move forward when no conditions match.
BizStackPro lets you build powerful conditional automation without code—so you can route contacts based on behavior, timing, and data.

You can create up to ten branches in a single If/Else condition. For more complex logic, it is recommended to use multiple workflows.
And requires all conditions to be met, while Or allows the path to continue if any one condition is met. The first Or condition encountered determines the path.
The None branch is used when no conditions match, ensuring contacts are still processed.
The Time of the Day condition allows selection in 15-minute intervals for granular scheduling control.
Some Scenario Recipes require prerequisites. BizStackPro will notify you of any requirements before setup.
If/Else is the foundation of intelligent automation—route contacts based on behavior, timing, appointments, and CRM data while keeping your workflow builder clean.
Better routing. Cleaner automation.
