WordPress Infra Migration – BizStackPro Help

WordPress Infra Migration

Move your WordPress sites to BizStackPro’s updated infrastructure for better speed and reliability—designed for zero downtime, temporary dashboard protection, and simple post-migration domain verification.

Migrating WordPress Infrastructure Without Breaking Your Live Website

Infrastructure migrations can quickly become stressful when businesses worry about downtime, broken domains, lost settings, or websites becoming unavailable during the transition process.

BizStackPro WordPress Infra Migration moves websites onto updated hosting infrastructure designed for improved speed and reliability while preserving themes, plugins, customizations, and existing website functionality.

Without understanding the migration process, businesses may become confused by temporary dashboard restrictions, delayed DNS verification, “Not-Verified” domain warnings, or uncertainty about what needs attention after migration.

This guide explains how the WordPress Infra Migration works, what to expect during the transition, how to verify domains afterward, and how to troubleshoot common post-migration DNS issues.

Before troubleshooting post-migration problems, it helps to understand how infrastructure updates, DNS verification, temporary dashboard restrictions, domain validation, and WordPress hosting systems work together inside BizStackPro.

Overview

BizStackPro’s WordPress hosting infrastructure has been updated to help sites run faster and more reliably. New WordPress installations are created directly on the new infrastructure, and existing sites are being migrated in phases.

This guide explains what to expect during migration, how to run the migration from your dashboard, and what to check after migration—especially domain and sub-domain verification.

Heads up: During migration, your WordPress dashboard may be temporarily restricted to prevent changes and protect data integrity. This restriction is typically brief and lifts right after migration completes.

Things to Know Before You Migrate

Zero downtime (by design)

Your websites should remain accessible throughout the transition.

Temporary restricted dashboard access

Changes may be blocked briefly during migration to keep data consistent.

Estimated migration time

Migration is usually quick—around 10 minutes—while the updated instance and configurations are created.

Post-migration checks

After migration, confirm domains and sub-domains. If you see a Not-Verified tag, you’ll need to verify via DNS records.

Support is available: If you run into issues during or after migration, BizStackPro Support can help you troubleshoot.

Migration Steps

  1. Open your WordPress Dashboard.
You’ll see a pop-up about the infrastructure update. Click Confirm Migration to begin.
  2. Wait while migration completes.
The platform creates the new WordPress instance and applies configurations. This typically takes about 10 minutes. Your dashboard may be restricted during this time.
  3. Review domains and sub-domains after migration.
You’ll return to the dashboard and your domains should still be listed. If any show Not-Verified, complete DNS verification.

Multiple sites? Each WordPress site must be migrated individually to ensure each site is fully configured on the new infrastructure.

How to Fix “Not-Verified” Domains After Migration

If a domain or sub-domain shows Not-Verified, it needs DNS verification in the updated infrastructure.

  1. Open DNS settings: Click DNS Settings for the domain showing Not-Verified.
  2. Copy records: Copy the DNS records shown in BizStackPro.
  3. Open your DNS provider: Go to the provider where your DNS is managed (registrar or DNS host).
  4. Add records exactly: Paste/add the records exactly as shown.
  5. Recheck status: Return to BizStackPro and recheck after DNS propagation.

Quick reminder

If you need a refresher on adding DNS records, use your Help Center guide: “How to Setup and Configure a New Domain or Subdomain”.

Faster hosting—without the headache

The infra migration is built to keep your sites stable during the transition. After migration, verify any domains that show Not-Verified and keep building.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know when my site has been successfully migrated?

You’ll receive an email confirmation when migration completes. If migration is successful, you won’t see migration alerts in your WordPress Dashboard.

What if I have multiple sites—do they all migrate at the same time?

Each site must be migrated individually so each one is set up properly on the new infrastructure.

Will there be any changes to the dashboard user interface?

No. The migration should not change the look and feel of your dashboard.

Will the migration affect my themes, plugins, or customizations?

No. The migration is designed to move your site as-is, keeping themes, plugins, and customizations intact.

Is there anything I need to do after migration?

Yes—confirm all domains and sub-domains. If any show Not-Verified, add the DNS records provided in BizStackPro and recheck after propagation.

Will the new infrastructure affect my site’s SEO?

The migration shouldn’t negatively impact SEO. Improved performance may potentially help.

What should I do if I encounter issues during or after migration?

Contact BizStackPro Support and share the affected domain, screenshots, and any Not-Verified tags.

Better performance. Same workflow.

Your dashboard experience stays familiar—while the infrastructure underneath is modernized for improved reliability. If domains need re-verification, BizStackPro shows the exact DNS records to add.
