Set the right account time zone, understand when lead time zones are ignored, and avoid sending messages at the wrong hour. This guide covers campaigns, delays, waits, windows, calendars, and appointment reminders.
Messages, reminders, and appointments can quickly become confusing when businesses work with leads or customers across multiple regions and time zones.
BizStackPro uses account-level and contact-level time zone settings to control how campaigns, delays, waits, booking calendars, and appointment reminders are scheduled and displayed.
Incorrect time zone configuration can lead to late-night messages, missed appointments, scheduling confusion, inaccurate automation timing, and poor customer experiences.
This guide explains how time zones function inside BizStackPro, when lead time zones are used or ignored, how appointment scheduling differs from campaigns, and how to avoid common timing mistakes.
Before adjusting campaigns or booking settings, it helps to understand how BizStackPro handles time zones across automation and scheduling systems.
Time zones affect how BizStackPro schedules appointments and how automation timing behaves—especially for delays, waits, and “send within a window” steps. Getting this right helps you avoid the classic mistake: sending a message at a perfect time for you… and 2:00 AM for your lead.
Quick rule: campaigns follow your account/location time zone, while appointments can display and schedule in a lead’s local time zone (when enabled).
Your account (location) time zone is the default clock BizStackPro uses for core scheduling, including:
Important: if your account time zone is wrong, your campaign windows and calendar availability will be wrong too—so fix this first before troubleshooting anything else.
Contacts can have a time zone saved in their record, but campaign timing follows your account/location time zone. This means a “Send between 9 AM–5 PM” window is evaluated using your location’s clock—not the lead’s.
Appointment booking behaves differently because leads can book in their local time zone (when enabled). The widget can display availability in the lead’s chosen time zone while still mapping that appointment correctly on your side.
Why this matters: appointment reminders are the safest automation timing across time zones because they anchor to the scheduled event.
If you only serve one region and you want booking to stay simple, you can disable the contact’s ability to choose a time zone. This forces appointments to use your business default time zone.
Note: disabling contact time zones is best only when most of your customers are in the same region. If you serve multiple regions, keep time zone selection enabled for smoother booking.
If a contact’s time zone is incorrect, you can update it manually in their contact record.
Clean time zone settings help protect deliverability and improves response rates—especially when you’re running campaigns across multiple regions.

No. Campaigns follow your account/location time zone, so set windows that work across regions.
Use safe windows and avoid early/late times if your leads span time zones. Prefer delays/waits over exact “send at” times.
Yes. Reminders are relative to the appointment time (for example, 1 hour before), so they remain correct across time zones.
Go to Settings → Business Profile → Time Zones, choose the correct time zone, then click Update Address.
Leads won’t choose a time zone in the booking widget, and appointments will use your business default time zone.
Use the right account time zone, keep booking flexible for leads when needed, and design campaign windows that won’t hit customers at awkward hours. A small setup tweak can save you a lot of confusion.
Better timing. Better replies.
