Single Line Feature in the Form Builder

Overview

The Single Line layout in the BizStackPro Form Builder lets you place multiple fields side-by-side on one row. It’s ideal for short, high-converting forms (like name + email) where you want a compact design with minimal scrolling.

Open the Form Builder

1. Go to Sites in the left menu.
2. Select Forms, then open the Builder tab.
3. Choose an existing form, or click Add Form to create a new one.
4. Click a field (example: First Name) to view its settings and confirm you’re editing the correct form.

Enable the Single Line Layout

Step 1: Open Styles & Options

1. Open the form you want to edit.
2. Click Styles and Options.
3. Find the Form Layout options (Single Column, Two Columns, Single Line).

Step 2: Choose Single Line

Select Single Line to place multiple fields on one horizontal row. This works especially well for:

• First Name + Last Name + Email
• Name + Phone
• Quick opt-in bars in headers/hero sections

Customize Field Styles

Once Single Line is active, use the style controls to keep spacing readable and the design consistent with your page theme.

Field Style Settings

• Background color for input fields
• Font color for input text
• Border style/color (solid, dashed, dotted, or none)
• Width per field (example: 300px for short fields, 500px for longer fields)

Advanced Design Options

• Adjust padding and spacing for better alignment.
• Add shadows for a subtle “lift” effect.
• Customize labels and placeholder typography and colors.
• Add a background image or header image to match your branding.

Best Practices

• Max 5 fields per row: Keeps the form readable and prevents crowding.
• Use for short forms: Single Line is best when you only need a few key fields.
• Balance widths: Make longer fields (like email) wider than short fields (like first name).
• Test on mobile: Ensure the row stays tappable and doesn’t force awkward zooming.
• Use longer layouts for long forms: Single Column or Two Columns are usually better for multi-step or detailed forms.
