In this guide, you’ll learn how to upload a background image, select your review source, set star-rating filters, configure posting limits, and manage scheduled review posts inside Calendar View.

Upload a Background for Review Posts

Step 1 — Open Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing.
  2. Select Social Planner.
  3. Click the New Post icon.
  4. Choose Post Review.

A popup opens where you can select accounts, upload or choose a background, and set your posting preferences. After saving your configuration, you can manage it from Social Planner (including pausing or editing).

Step 2 — Select Your Review Source

In the Post Review popup, choose the integration/source you want to publish from (for example, a connected Google Business Profile or a connected Facebook page). Make sure your reputation/social integrations are connected and pulling reviews successfully.

Step 3 — Choose or Upload the Background

  • Upload your own background: Use a branded template that matches your design style.
  • Select an available background: Choose from backgrounds already in the interface.

Background image specs: Use JPEG or PNG, up to 5 MB, with 1024 × 1024 dimensions (1:1 aspect ratio).

Set Posting Preferences

Configure Filters, Frequency, and Times

  • Star rating filters: Choose which star ratings are eligible (example: only 4–5 star).
  • Posting volume: Set how many review posts should publish per day, week, or month.
  • Posting cadence: Choose a repeating frequency (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly).
  • Exact posting time(s): Select the time(s) you want review posts to go out.

How limits work: If your daily limit is 5 and you receive more than 5 qualifying reviews, Social Planner will only schedule/publish up to 5 (based on your filters). Extra reviews won’t be posted automatically.

Monitor and Edit Scheduled Review Posts

Once your review posting rules are saved, you can manage scheduled posts from Calendar View.

  • Open Social Planner → Calendar View.
  • Find scheduled review posts on the calendar.
  • Pause, edit, or delete scheduled posts as needed.
