Add, connect, and manage branded domains in BizStackPro—set up DNS records, use Domain Connect where available, troubleshoot verification issues, and configure default + 404 pages.
Businesses often run into problems when domains are not connected correctly, especially when websites fail to load, SSL verification breaks, or DNS records conflict during setup.
The Domains area in BizStackPro manages branded domain connections, DNS verification, homepage routing, SSL configuration, and domain behavior for funnels, websites, and hosted assets.
Incorrect DNS settings or incomplete verification can cause downtime, broken pages, SSL errors, failed tracking, or inconsistent branding across customer-facing assets.
This guide explains how to connect domains, configure DNS records, use Domain Connect when available, troubleshoot verification issues, and manage homepage and 404 page settings inside BizStackPro.
Before configuring individual DNS records, it helps to understand how BizStackPro handles domain connections and verification.
The Domains area in Settings helps you connect new domains, configure DNS records, verify connections, and manage key behaviors like your domain’s default homepage and custom 404 page.
You can manage: Internal domains (purchased through BizStackPro) and external domains (connected from third-party registrars).
Use this flow when you want to host funnels, websites, or pages on your own branded URL.
DNS timing: DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate. If verification fails right after updating records, wait and try again.
BizStackPro will show you the exact records required for your setup. A common configuration is a root domain plus www.
Always use the values shown in your domain setup prompt if they differ.
| Record | Host | Value |
|---|---|---|
| A | @ | Example IP shown in BizStackPro |
| CNAME | www | Example target shown in BizStackPro |
Tip: Avoid creating duplicate records (for example, multiple A records for @)
unless your DNS provider requires it. Conflicting records can prevent verification.
If your DNS host supports Domain Connect, you may be able to authorize BizStackPro to create the needed DNS records automatically. This can be faster than manual record entry.
If Domain Connect isn’t available: no problem—use the manual DNS records displayed in BizStackPro and add them directly inside your DNS provider.
If BizStackPro flags an issue during verification, look for an in-app troubleshooting link (often labeled “Troubleshoot This Issue”) and review your DNS settings for conflicts.
@ can cause conflicts.www. instead of www) or incorrect target.Best practice: After making DNS changes, give it time—then re-run verification. Rapid changes can make troubleshooting harder while propagation is still happening.
Once your domain is connected, configure what visitors see when they hit your root domain, and what happens if they land on a broken link.
Open the domain actions menu (often the three dots) and choose the option to edit/configure the domain. Then select which funnel step or website page should load when someone visits your domain with no path.
Create a custom 404 page in your funnel/website builder, then select it in your domain settings as the 404/error page. This keeps your brand consistent and helps visitors find their way back.
If you no longer want a domain connected, go to Settings → Domains and use the delete/remove option for that domain. This disconnects it from your BizStackPro account.
Connecting your domain is the foundation for professional funnels and websites—especially when your default homepage and custom 404 page are set correctly.
Opens in a new tab.
Go to Settings → Domains, click + Connect a domain, enter your domain, then add the DNS records shown in BizStackPro and verify the connection.
DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate. If verification fails right away, wait and try again.
Yes—if your DNS provider supports Domain Connect, BizStackPro may be able to create the required records automatically after you approve access.
Use the manual option and add the required DNS records (A and CNAME) in your DNS provider’s dashboard using the exact values shown in BizStackPro.
You can manage both internal domains (purchased through BizStackPro) and external domains (connected from third-party registrars).
In Settings → Domains, open the domain actions menu (three dots), choose the edit/configure option, and select the funnel step or website page that should load as your homepage.
A 404 page appears when someone visits a broken URL. Create a custom 404 page in your funnel/website builder, then set it as the 404 page in your domain settings.
Go to Settings → Domains and use the delete/remove option next to the domain you want to disconnect.
When DNS records verify successfully and your default + 404 pages are configured, visitors get a smooth, on-brand experience across every page you publish.
Branded URLs. Better trust. Cleaner tracking.
