Custom Values let you store dynamic placeholders—like contact details, appointment info, or business data—and automatically insert them into emails, SMS, workflows, websites, funnels, templates, and more.
Repeating the same business links, contact details, booking URLs, and personalized information across emails, workflows, templates, and pages quickly becomes difficult to manage at scale.
Custom Values allow BizStackPro to store reusable dynamic placeholders that automatically insert contact-specific or business-level information wherever those tokens are used.
Without centralized reusable values, outdated links, inconsistent messaging, broken personalization, and manual editing errors become much more likely across automation and communication systems.
This guide explains how Custom Values work, where to create them, how to use them across workflows and templates, and how to keep reusable business information consistent throughout BizStackPro.
Before creating new tokens, it helps to understand how BizStackPro uses Custom Values to dynamically insert information across the platform.
Custom Values are placeholders (dynamic tokens) that pull data into your content automatically—so you can personalize at scale without manually typing the same details over and over.
Important: Custom Values are meant to show the contact’s information or your business information at send time. To avoid exposing private info in a help guide, always show tokens as examples (not real values).
{{"{{contact.name}}"}}{{"{{contact.first_name}}"}}{{"{{contact.last_name}}"}}{{"{{contact.email}}"}}{{"{{contact.phone}}"}}{{"{{contact.company_name}}"}}{{"{{custom_values.pricing_link}}"}} (example business-level custom value)BizStackPro includes many built-in values. You can also create your own Custom Values for things like booking links, support emails, legal disclaimers, and more.
Tip: Treat Custom Values like “single source of truth.” If your link, phone number, or support email changes later, update it once in Custom Values—and it updates everywhere you used the token.
Personalize one-to-one messages (SMS, email, chat) by inserting tokens into your replies. Look for an “Insert Custom Value” option in the composer.
Use Custom Values in workflow actions (SMS, email, internal notifications) and in conditional logic. If a value isn’t populating, check that the workflow’s trigger provides the correct context for that value.
Common cause of “not populating”: the token needs a specific trigger context. Example: membership-related tokens often require a membership-related trigger; appointment tokens require an appointment trigger.
Add tokens to subject lines, preview text, sender fields, and the email body to increase personalization and clarity.
Save repeatable, personalized messages by including Custom Values inside snippets (templates) and reusing them across the team.
Insert tokens into page content and links when you want content to adapt dynamically (for example, showing a contact detail or reusing a global business link). Custom Values also work well for standardizing URLs you reuse across many pages.
Use Custom Values to standardize business info in posts (like a booking link or brand name), especially if you schedule content at scale.
Build once. Reuse everywhere. Custom Values help your messaging, automation, and pages stay consistent as you scale.

Yes—use them in the subject line, preview text, sender fields, and in the email body for personalization.
Usually the workflow trigger doesn’t provide the right context for that token. Match the token’s data source to the workflow trigger (e.g., membership tokens with membership triggers).
Yes—Social Planner supports inserting Custom Values for consistent business details and links.
With Custom Values, you can standardize your most important details (links, support info, brand name) and personalize contact messaging automatically—without rewriting content each time.
