BizStackPro Help Center · Workflows & Automation
Clear the contents of a specific Google Sheets row directly from your workflows—without removing the row itself.
Spreadsheets are commonly used to track leads, appointments, inventory, workflow logs, customer records, and operational data. As information changes, businesses sometimes need to clear outdated records while preserving the overall spreadsheet structure.
BizStackPro's Google Sheets Delete Specific Spreadsheet Row action allows workflows to automatically clear the contents of a designated row while leaving the row itself intact for future use.
Without automated spreadsheet cleanup, teams may spend time manually removing outdated information, create inconsistencies between systems, or accidentally disrupt formulas and reporting structures that depend on fixed row locations.
This guide explains how the Delete Specific Spreadsheet Row action works, how row references are managed, and how to maintain cleaner spreadsheet-based workflows inside BizStackPro.
Before clearing spreadsheet rows automatically, it helps to understand how Google Sheets integrations, row references, workflow variables, reporting structures, data management, and workflow automation work together inside BizStackPro.
The Delete Specific Spreadsheet Row Premium Action clears the values from a specific row in a Google Sheets worksheet by row number. This is useful when you need to remove row data while keeping the sheet’s structure intact for formulas, references, or consistent row positioning.
What this action really does
Once the action is selected, choose the worksheet and define the row number you want to clear.
Choose the worksheet (tab) where the row exists. If your spreadsheet has multiple tabs, confirm you’ve selected the correct one before saving.
Enter the row number you want to clear (for example, 2 to clear the second row below your header row). You can also insert a dynamic value from your workflow using the variable picker.
Use dynamic row numbers
If your workflow already stores a row number (for example, in a custom value), use the variable picker to insert that value so the action clears the correct row automatically.
This action clears the data in the row. It does not delete the row itself. The worksheet keeps the row in place as an empty row.
Use Premium Google Sheets actions to keep logs organized, remove temporary data, and maintain a clean reporting sheet.
Opens in a new tab.
It clears the contents of all columns in a specified row without removing the row itself.
No. The row remains in the worksheet but is left empty after the data is cleared.
Yes. You can use the Custom Variable Picker to dynamically set the row number.
Select the worksheet from the dropdown during setup before specifying the row number.
Use it when you need to clear row data without altering the spreadsheet structure.
This action helps you remove values while keeping row positioning intact—ideal for sheets that rely on formulas, fixed slots, or consistent reporting layouts.
Cleaner sheets. Better automation.
