Add search to your store navigation or place a standalone Search element anywhere on your pages so customers can find products faster.
Customers can quickly leave an ecommerce store when they cannot easily find the products they are looking for, especially in stores with growing catalogs and multiple categories.
The Search Bar feature inside the BizStackPro Ecommerce Store Builder allows shoppers to search products directly from navigation menus or standalone search elements placed throughout store pages.
Without searchable product discovery, customers may spend too much time browsing manually, miss relevant products, or abandon the store before completing a purchase.
This guide explains how to add search bars to ecommerce stores, customize search appearance, place standalone search elements, and improve product discovery workflows inside BizStackPro.
Before adding searchable product navigation to your store, it helps to understand how Navigation Menu search, standalone Search elements, product keywords, and store layouts work together inside the BizStackPro Ecommerce Builder.
The Search Bar element helps shoppers find products quickly by searching titles and keywords. You can add search directly into your Navigation Menu (so it shows across pages) or place a standalone Search element anywhere in your store layout.
Important: Search bars are available only for online stores (not standard non-store websites).
Add a search bar inside your store’s navigation menu so it stays visible across pages. This is ideal if you want customers to access search at any time.
Place a standalone Search element anywhere—above a product grid, in a sidebar, or near promotional sections—to encourage focused product discovery.
Note: If you don’t see Search as an available element, confirm you are editing an online store (not a standard website).
With the Search element selected, use the right-side settings panel to customize its appearance and behavior:
Tip: Place the Search element near your Product List or collection header so customers immediately see it while browsing.
After you Save and Publish, open your live store and test searches using product names and common keywords. Confirm that:
For best results, include meaningful keywords in your product titles and descriptions. If results look off, update product info, then republish and test again.
A visible search bar reduces browsing friction and can improve conversions—especially for larger catalogs and repeat shoppers.
