Moving between menus and modules to locate contacts, opportunities, or payments can interrupt workflows and slow down daily tasks, especially in larger accounts.
Universal Search gives you a centralized way to search across multiple record types from almost anywhere inside BizStackPro without navigating through separate sections first.
Without a fast search system, teams can waste time hunting for records, create duplicate entries accidentally, or lose momentum while switching between areas of the platform.
This guide explains how Universal Search works, how to filter results by category, and how to create new contacts or opportunities directly from the search panel when no match is found.

Overview
Universal Search gives you a fast way to locate key records from anywhere in your BizStackPro dashboard. Search across multiple categories, open matching records, or create new entries directly from the search panel.
Step 1: Open Universal Search
- In your dashboard, find the search bar (top-left area).
- Click the search bar to open the Universal Search popup.
- Type what you’re looking for (example: test).
In the left column of the popup, you can filter results by:
- All Categories
- Contacts
- Opportunities
- Payments
Tip: Click any result to open the record instantly. Then return to the search bar and run another search whenever needed.
Step 2: Create a Contact or Opportunity From Search
If BizStackPro doesn’t find a match under Contacts or Opportunities, you can create a new entry right from the results tab. This saves time and keeps you in the same workflow.
- Open Universal Search and click the Contacts or Opportunities tab.
- If there are no matches, look for an add hyperlink.
- Click add to create the new contact or opportunity.
- Enter the details and save.
