How to Use the Dialer (Web App & Multi-User)

Make one-time outbound calls, receive calls in the web app, and route inbound calls to multiple users—right inside BizStackPro.

Making and Receiving Calls Without Leaving the Web App

Switching between separate phone systems, browsers, and contact tools can slow down communication and make call handling harder to manage.

The BizStackPro dialer allows users to place outbound calls, receive inbound calls inside the web app, and route calls to multiple team members when needed.

Without a centralized dialer setup, calls may be missed, call records become fragmented, and teams lose visibility into communication activity.

This guide will walk you through how to use the dialer so you can manage calls directly inside BizStackPro and improve team response handling.

To begin, review what the dialer lets you do and how outbound, inbound, and multi-user call routing work together.

What the Dialer Lets You Do

  • Make one-time outbound calls directly from the web app (softphone).
  • Receive incoming calls inside the browser using “Forward calls to Web App.”
  • Ring multiple users at once on inbound calls (up to seven).
  • Access call activity (and recordings, if enabled) from Conversations.

Good to know: For the best experience, allow microphone permissions in your browser and verify your headset/speakers before placing calls.

Security & Anti-Abuse Limits

  • Suspicious users may be blocked from making calls.
  • Only two simultaneous calls are allowed to a single destination number from the same sub-account.

Tip: If you’re running a team dial session, rotate leads and avoid repeatedly calling the same destination number at the same time.

Outbound Calls from the Contacts Page

  1. Open Contacts.
  2. Click the green call button (top-right).
  3. Select the From number (must exist under Settings).
  4. Enter the destination number and click Call.
  5. Confirm your mic and speakers are active.

Recording: If Call Recording is enabled, the call will appear in the contact’s Conversation thread for playback/download.

One-Time Calls from Contact View or Conversations

  • From Contact View: Open a contact and click the green call button above the middle conversation section.
  • From Conversations: Select the lead, then click the call button under their name on the right-hand side.

Pro move: Start calls from Conversations when you want quick context (recent messages, tags, notes) before dialing.

Receive Incoming Calls in the Web App

  1. Go to My Staff.
  2. Edit the user who should receive calls.
  3. Open Call & Voicemail Settings.
  4. Enable Forward calls to Web App.

Browser permissions: If incoming calls don’t ring or you can’t answer, verify microphone permissions and that the browser tab/window is allowed to play sound/notifications.

Ring Multiple Users on Inbound Calls

  1. Go to Settings → Phone Numbers.
  2. Choose the number and click Edit Configuration.
  3. Enable Ring Incoming Calls to Selected Users.
  4. Select up to seven users to ring simultaneously.
  5. Save your changes.

Note: If a user is removed from the selection list, they won’t receive inbound call notifications for that number.

Dial, answer, and collaborate from the browser

Use the web dialer for quick outbound calls and ring multiple users so inbound calls get answered faster.
