How to Use Audit Logs

Use Audit Logs in BizStackPro to track changes across contacts, calendars, opportunities, funnels, websites, refunds, and more—so you always know who did what, and when.

Tracking Changes When Something Unexpected Happens

When settings change unexpectedly, data disappears, appointments stop working correctly, or refunds are processed incorrectly, it can be difficult to determine what actually happened and who made the change.

Audit Logs record account activity across multiple areas of BizStackPro, including calendars, contacts, funnels, websites, payments, and user access events.

Without a reliable activity history, troubleshooting problems becomes slower, accountability is reduced, and important changes can go unnoticed across larger teams or complex systems.

This guide explains how to use Audit Logs, apply filters, review detailed records, and track changes across different modules so you can investigate issues more effectively.

Before searching for specific events, it helps to understand what types of account activity Audit Logs are designed to track.

Overview of Audit Logs

Audit Logs give Account Admins a centralized way to review key changes across the account—contacts, calendars, opportunities, communications, and more. This makes it easier to identify where a change originated, who made it, and when it happened.

Important: Audit Logs are only visible to Account Admins. Account Users do not have access.

Part 1: Navigate to Audit Logs

  1. In your BizStackPro account, open Settings.
  2. Select Audit Logs.

This opens the main Audit Logs view where you can search, filter, and review account activity.

Use Filters to Find What You Need

Audit Logs include filters that help you pinpoint a specific change or event quickly. Common filters include:

  • Contact or Opportunity ID: narrow records related to a specific person or deal.
  • Document ID / Name: search using a keyword or an entity ID tied to a specific item.
  • Selected Users: show actions performed by a specific staff member.
  • Actions: filter by created, updated, deleted, or restored.
  • Modules: focus on a feature area like calendars, funnels, websites, stores, etc.
  • Date Range: limit results to a specific time window.

Good to know: Modules can have internal IDs (for contacts, calendars, and other objects). Using IDs in filters often produces the most precise results.

Part 2: View Audit Log Details

After you find the relevant entry, open the detail view to see exactly what changed.

  1. Click the three dots next to a log entry.
  2. Select View Details.
  3. In the details view, expand line items (using the three dots where available) to see more granular information.

Audit Logs for Calendar Settings

Audit Logs for calendars make it easy to track edits to calendar settings—who changed what, when it was changed, and what values were updated. This is especially helpful when troubleshooting booking issues or availability changes.

View all calendar changes

  1. Go to SettingsAudit Logs.
  2. In Module, choose Calendars.
  3. Refine further with date, user, or action filters.

View changes for a specific calendar

  1. Open the calendar’s Settings page.
  2. Copy the Calendar ID.
  3. Return to SettingsAudit Logs.
  4. Paste the Calendar ID into the Document ID search field.
  5. Review all entries associated with that calendar.

Audit Logs for Funnels, Websites, Webinars & Stores

Audit Logs also cover changes to digital assets like funnels, websites, webinars, and stores—giving you a clear record of edits and updates.

  • Track funnel edits and page modifications.
  • Review website content and settings changes.
  • Monitor webinar updates and configuration changes.
  • Audit store changes, including product and settings updates.

Retention window: Audit Logs display events from the last 60 days.

Track Refunds in Audit Logs

You can track refund actions processed in the account directly from Audit Logs, including both successful and failed refunds.

  1. Go to SettingsAudit Logs.
  2. Use Modules and Actions filters to locate refund-related events.

Log entries may include:

  • Refund status (successful or failed)
  • Full or partial refund details
  • Refund notes and refund type
  • The user who processed the refund
  • Related transaction context and metadata

Device IP Address and Device Name

For login-related actions, Audit Logs can display the device IP address and device name, which helps confirm where account access is coming from.

  • Verify login locations quickly
  • Identify which device/browser was used
  • Improve security and accountability around access

Troubleshoot faster with a clear activity trail

Audit Logs help you pinpoint exactly what changed across calendars, funnels, websites, and payments—so you can resolve issues with confidence.
