Bring your existing numbers to BizStackPro Phone. Gather the right info, prep your LOA and bill, submit in E.164 format, and the carrier transfer can begin.
Number porting moves a phone number from your current carrier into your BizStackPro Phone account. To avoid delays and rejections, gather the correct account details, submit required documents in the correct file format, and list every number in E.164 format.
Heads up: Porting a personal cell number is usually permanent and not recommended. If possible, port existing business/VoIP numbers instead.
Match your bill exactly: Most port rejections happen because the name, address, account number, or PIN doesn’t match the losing carrier’s records.
Prepare these PDFs before you submit your request so your port can move forward without back-and-forth.
Submit each number in E.164 format to help prevent carrier rejections.
Example (US):
+1XXXYYYZZZZ
Tip: If you’re porting multiple numbers, keep them in a single, clearly formatted list and confirm each number’s type (wireless vs landline/toll-free).
Avoid downtime: Don’t cancel service with your current provider until the port completes. Canceling early can cause a failed port or number loss.
Clean documents, correct carrier info, and E.164 formatting reduce rejections and speed up your porting request.
Opens in a new tab.
Location ID, customer name (matching the bill), physical service address (no P.O. Box), list of numbers to port, number type, and if wireless: account number and PIN/last 4 of SSN.
A Letter of Authorization in PDF (≤4MB, dated within the last 15 days) and a recent phone bill in PDF (≤4MB).
Use E.164 format, for example +1XXXYYYZZZZ.
It’s possible but not recommended. Once transferred, it cannot be undone. Prefer porting existing VoIP numbers.
Typically 4–6 weeks depending on the losing carrier. Include the account number with the current provider.
Yes, there’s a one-time porting fee per number.
It may only need an internal move between accounts (project-to-project). Provide the losing account identifier.
Provide a recent bill, a signed LOA, and a clean list of numbers in E.164 format to help your port move through quickly.
Keep your number. Keep your momentum.
