How to Create and Utilize the Group Hashtag Feature

Save time and stay consistent by creating reusable hashtag groups you can apply to any Social Planner post in seconds.

Overview

The Group Hashtag feature lets you save collections of hashtags and apply them to posts with a single click. This removes repetitive copy/paste work and helps you keep your hashtags consistent across platforms and campaigns.

Good to know: You can use up to 30 hashtags in a single post. If you need platform-specific sets, create multiple groups (example: “IG – Local”, “TikTok – Tips”, “YouTube Shorts”).

Step 1: Create a Hashtag Group

  1. Go to Marketing in your BizStackPro dashboard.
  2. Click Social Planner.
  3. Click Create New Post.
  4. In the post composer, scroll to the hashtag area and click Add Hashtags.
  5. Enter a Group Name, then add the hashtags you want included. (Up to 30 hashtags per post.)
  6. Click Save and Apply to store your group and apply it to the current post.

After saving, your hashtag group will appear as a reusable option whenever you create a new post.

Step 2: Apply a Hashtag Group to a Post

When you’re composing a new post, select one of your saved hashtag groups. Social Planner will automatically populate the hashtag field with the full set.

  • Create a new post in Social Planner.
  • Open the hashtag area and select your saved group.
  • Review the hashtags and adjust (if needed) for that specific post.

Tip: Use campaign naming so groups stay organized over time (example: “Spring Promo – Local”, “Webinar – Leads”, “Reels – Daily Tips”).
