Connect your Facebook Group to BizStackPro’s Social Planner so you can schedule, create, and publish posts to your communities alongside Facebook Pages, Instagram, and Google My Business — all from one place.
Facebook Groups often require consistent posting and engagement, but manually publishing content every day can become difficult as communities grow.
The BizStackPro Social Planner allows Facebook Groups to be connected alongside Pages and other social channels so posts can be scheduled and managed from one centralized dashboard.
Missing admin access, incomplete Facebook permissions, or failing to authorize the LeadConnector app can prevent Groups from connecting properly and block scheduled publishing workflows.
This guide explains how to prepare Facebook Groups for connection, authorize the LeadConnector app, connect Groups inside Social Planner, troubleshoot common setup issues, and manage Facebook Group publishing inside BizStackPro.
Before scheduling posts to a Facebook Group through Social Planner, it helps to understand how Facebook Group permissions, admin access, and authorized apps work together inside BizStackPro.
Social Planner lets you connect and manage multiple social platforms from one dashboard. When your Facebook Group is connected, you can schedule and publish posts to that Group right alongside your other channels.
Before you connect: you must (1) have Admin access to the Facebook Group, and (2) add the LeadConnector app to the Group. Without both steps, Facebook won’t allow third-party publishing.
Important: You cannot connect a personal Facebook profile for posting. Facebook’s API only supports Pages and Groups for third-party tools.
To connect a Group, Facebook requires that you have an Admin role for that Group. If you don’t have Admin access, ask an existing admin to upgrade your permissions.
Tip: If the Group doesn’t appear during connection later, it’s usually because the account used to connect doesn’t have Admin access—or the required app permissions weren’t approved.
Facebook requires you to explicitly authorize an app for Group publishing. Add LeadConnector to the Group before connecting it in BizStackPro.
Why this matters: Adding LeadConnector is what grants the permissions needed for BizStackPro’s Social Planner to schedule and publish posts to your Group.
After confirming Admin access and adding LeadConnector to your Group, connect it in Social Planner:
After connection: Your Group will appear as a posting destination inside the composer, so you can schedule posts to the Group from the Social Planner calendar.
You can manage connections any time from the Social Planner Settings:
If a Group won’t connect: double-check Admin access, confirm LeadConnector is added in Group Settings, and re-run the Facebook authorization flow to grant all permissions.
Once your Group is connected, you can schedule posts alongside your other socials—without logging in and out of separate tools.
