How To Connect LinkedIn for the Social Planner

Connect your LinkedIn profile and pages to BizStackPro’s Social Planner so you can schedule and publish posts to LinkedIn alongside Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business — all from one place.

Managing LinkedIn Publishing Alongside Your Other Social Channels

Managing LinkedIn separately from other social platforms can slow down content workflows and make it harder to keep posting schedules consistent across multiple channels.

The BizStackPro Social Planner allows LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn Pages to be connected alongside Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business accounts inside one centralized publishing system.

Missing LinkedIn permissions, incorrect admin access, or incomplete account authorization can prevent profiles and Pages from appearing correctly inside the Social Planner.

This guide explains how to connect LinkedIn accounts, authorize permissions, manage LinkedIn Pages, troubleshoot missing accounts, and organize LinkedIn publishing workflows inside BizStackPro.

Before scheduling LinkedIn posts through Social Planner, it helps to understand how LinkedIn permissions, Page access, and connected social accounts are managed inside BizStackPro.

Overview

BizStackPro Social Planner helps you manage multiple social channels from a single dashboard. When you connect LinkedIn, you can create, schedule, and publish posts to your LinkedIn profile and any LinkedIn Pages you administer— right alongside your other connected networks.

Before you start: Make sure you can log into LinkedIn in the same browser you’re using for BizStackPro, and confirm you have admin access to any LinkedIn Pages you want to connect.

Step 1 — Open the Social Planner

  1. In BizStackPro, click Marketing in the left-side menu.
  2. Select Social Planner.

Tip: If you don’t see Social Planner, verify you’re in the correct sub-account/location and that your plan includes social publishing features.

Step 2 — Add LinkedIn as a Connected Account

You can connect LinkedIn either directly from Social Planner or from Settings → Integrations (recommended if you’re connecting for the first time).

Option A: Connect from Social Planner

  1. In Social Planner, click the account or settings icon near the top.
  2. Choose Add Account.
  3. Select LinkedIn.

Option B: Connect from Settings → Integrations

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Select LinkedIn, then start the connection.

Permissions prompt: LinkedIn will ask you to approve access. To avoid missing Pages later, approve the requested permissions so Social Planner can publish posts and list the Pages you administer.

Step 3 — Select Your LinkedIn Profile and Pages

After LinkedIn authorization completes, choose what you want available inside Social Planner:

  • LinkedIn personal profile (your user account)
  • LinkedIn Pages where you have admin access

Good to know: You can connect multiple LinkedIn Pages. If a Page doesn’t appear, it usually means your LinkedIn user doesn’t have admin access to that Page, or the integration needs to be reconnected.

Step 4 — Manage LinkedIn Accounts in Social Planner

Once connected, you can enable/disable LinkedIn entities inside Social Planner and reconnect if permissions change.

  1. Open Social Planner.
  2. Click the settings/accounts icon.
  3. Locate your LinkedIn connection and confirm the profile/pages you want are enabled.
  4. If something changes (like Page access), disconnect and reconnect LinkedIn to refresh permissions.

LinkedIn limitation: Posts created on a LinkedIn Page through third-party tools may not show LinkedIn’s usual Share or Repost options. This is controlled by LinkedIn and is not specific to BizStackPro.

Schedule LinkedIn posts without juggling tools

Connect LinkedIn once, then create and schedule posts from the same Social Planner calendar you use for your other channels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I connect both my LinkedIn personal profile and LinkedIn business pages to the Social Planner?

Yes. You can connect your personal profile and any LinkedIn Pages you manage, then choose them separately when creating posts in Social Planner.

What permissions do I need to grant when connecting my LinkedIn account?

Approve the permissions LinkedIn requests so Social Planner can publish posts, access your account basics, and list Pages you administer.

Can I schedule posts for LinkedIn using the Social Planner?

Yes. After connecting LinkedIn, you can schedule posts for your profile and connected Pages just like your other social networks.

What happens if I don’t see my LinkedIn account as an option when adding accounts?

Check Settings → Integrations to confirm LinkedIn is connected. If it still doesn’t appear, disconnect and reconnect LinkedIn and re-approve permissions.

Can I connect multiple LinkedIn pages to the Social Planner?

Yes. You can connect multiple Pages as long as your LinkedIn user has admin access to each Page.

Are there any limitations when posting to LinkedIn through the Social Planner?

Yes. LinkedIn may not show Share or Repost options on Page posts created via third-party tools. This is a LinkedIn platform limitation.

Connect LinkedIn and publish with confidence

Get your LinkedIn profile and Pages connected, then plan your content calendar in one place — with the same Social Planner workflow you already use for the rest of your social channels.
