Configure voicemail routing and transcription for your Twilio numbers using TwiML Apps and TwiML Bins, and set BizStackPro correctly so calls route to voicemail the right way.
Note: Voicemail transcriptions are a paid Twilio feature. Your Twilio account will be billed when transcription is used.
Missed calls can quickly turn into lost opportunities when voicemail routing is not configured correctly or callers never reach a working voicemail system.
BizStackPro voicemail handling depends on Twilio routing behavior, TwiML Apps or TwiML Bins, proper Voice & Fax configuration, and correctly managed call forwarding settings.
Without proper voicemail setup, businesses may lose customer messages, create broken voicemail experiences, fail to capture recordings, or miss important follow-up opportunities when calls go unanswered.
This guide explains how to configure voicemail forwarding, connect TwiML Apps or TwiML Bins, enable voicemail transcription, and stabilize voicemail routing behavior for Twilio numbers inside BizStackPro.
Before troubleshooting voicemail problems, it helps to understand how Twilio routing, call forwarding settings, TwiML Apps, TwiML Bins, and voicemail transcription work together inside BizStackPro phone systems.
Before enabling Twilio voicemail handling, BizStackPro must allow Twilio to manage the incoming call instead of forwarding it to another number.
Go to: Settings → Phone Numbers
Next, create a TwiML App that controls your voicemail behavior.
After creating your TwiML App (or TwiML Bin), attach it to the phone number that will receive voicemails.
Go to: Develop → Active Numbers
