Fix publishing failures, missing pages, permissions issues, expired tokens, invalid media/links, and more when connecting or posting to Facebook using Social Planner.
Social media scheduling workflows can quickly break down when connected Facebook Pages disappear, posts fail to publish, or account permissions change unexpectedly.
The BizStackPro Social Planner relies on Facebook permissions, valid access tokens, Page access levels, and active media links to publish content successfully across connected accounts.
Missing permissions, expired tokens, broken media URLs, or incorrect Facebook Page access settings can stop posts from publishing and create gaps in planned marketing campaigns.
This guide explains how to troubleshoot missing Facebook Pages, reconnect integrations, refresh expired tokens, resolve publishing failures, fix permission-related errors, and restore reliable publishing inside BizStackPro.
Before reconnecting accounts or troubleshooting failed posts, it helps to understand how Facebook permissions, Page access, and Social Planner integrations work together inside BizStackPro.
This guide helps you diagnose and fix common issues when connecting Facebook Pages or publishing posts through Social Planner. Use the sections below to resolve missing Pages, blocked posts, expired access tokens, permission errors, and media/link issues.
Quick rule: Most connection problems come down to Page access (Full Control) and permissions granted to the Facebook integration during the original connection.
If some Facebook Pages don’t appear during connection, it’s almost always a permissions issue from the initial Facebook login.
If the Page owner can’t grant access, you may need to be added correctly first (some setups require the owner to add you before Facebook will allow Page access changes).
If a post fails when publishing through Social Planner, check these common causes and fixes.
Facebook may block content that violates Community Standards or triggers safety systems. Review captions, hashtags, and URLs for anything that could be flagged, and try again.
Tokens can expire after password changes, security events, or extended inactivity.
Fix: reconnect Facebook in Social Planner to refresh the token.
If the Page requires 2FA for admins, enable 2FA for your Facebook account, then reconnect the Page/integration.
This usually means your user does not have full administrative permissions on the Page. Make sure you have Full Control, then reconnect and approve all permissions.
Posts can fail if media URLs are no longer accessible (deleted file, private link, expired CDN URL). Re-upload the media to your library or use a stable, publicly reachable URL.
If Facebook can’t fetch link metadata (temporary issues, blocked domains, or server overload), the post may fail. Try removing the link to confirm the cause, then retry later or use a different URL.
In some cases, the Page must be reauthorized by the same Facebook user who originally connected it. If you can’t reconnect, ask that user to reconnect, or have them share the correct access.
Correct Page access, reauthorize permissions, and refresh tokens so your posts publish reliably through Social Planner.
Opens in a new tab.
This usually happens if required content and insight permissions were not granted during initial connection. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → LeadConnector → View and Edit, and select all pages and permissions.
Reconnect your Facebook account through Social Planner to refresh the token. Tokens may expire after password changes, security events, or inactivity longer than ~90 days.
This occurs when the image source is no longer available or accessible. Make sure the media URL is active, not deleted, and publicly reachable.
It usually means you don’t have full administrative permissions on the Facebook Page. Ensure you have Full Control access in Page settings and grant all permissions during integration.
You must use the same Facebook user who originally connected the Page, or ask that user to reconnect it. Some setups require the original connector to reauthorize the Page.
If your Pages are missing or posts won’t publish, start with Full Control Page Access, then reauthorize LeadConnector permissions and reconnect to refresh tokens.
Fewer errors. Faster publishing.
