Facebook and Instagram Shops for E-commerce Stores

Connect your BizStackPro ecommerce store to Facebook and Instagram Shops, sync products to Meta Commerce Manager, and run catalog-based ads to grow sales across social channels.

Overview

Facebook and Instagram Shops let you showcase your BizStackPro store products directly inside Meta’s ecosystem. By syncing your product catalog with Meta Commerce Manager, you can manage products from one place while making them discoverable through Facebook Pages, Instagram profiles, and ads.

Once connected, product updates (and inventory details when tracking is enabled) can flow from BizStackPro to your Facebook and Instagram Shops—making catalog-based ad campaigns easier to run.

Good to know: You can control syncing per store and even per Facebook Page from the Shops tab in the integration—useful if you manage multiple brands or pages.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Product syncing: Sync BizStackPro store products to Meta catalogs without duplicate setup.
  • Single inventory source: Manage inventory inside BizStackPro and keep availability aligned across social channels.
  • Social commerce ready: Let customers discover products where they already spend time.
  • Catalog-based ads: Run dynamic product ads using your synced catalog in Meta Commerce Manager.
  • Per-store & per-page control: Choose what syncs and pause syncing anytime.

How to Set Up Facebook and Instagram Shops Integration

Step 1 – Create a Facebook Shop

  • Open Meta Commerce Manager (via your Meta business tools).
  • Create or add a Commerce Account and follow the prompts to create a Shop.
  • Create or select the Facebook Page that will host the shop.
  • In Page settings, set the category to E-commerce Website (if required by Meta).
  • Create/select a product catalog and accept Meta’s terms.

Step 2 – Create or Connect an Instagram Shop

  • In Commerce Manager, open the active shop.
  • Go to Settings and choose Connect Instagram.
  • Link your Instagram Business account to display catalog items.

Step 3 – Open the Facebook & Instagram Integration in BizStackPro

In BizStackPro, go to Settings > Integrations > Facebook & Instagram. This is where you connect your Meta account and configure Shops.

Step 4 – First-Time Connection

  1. Click to connect your Facebook account.
  2. Log in (if prompted) and grant required permissions.
  3. Select the Facebook Pages and catalogs BizStackPro should access.
  4. Save your integration settings.

Step 5 – Reconnect If You Previously Connected

  • If you see errors, disconnect the integration inside BizStackPro.
  • In Facebook, open Business Integrations and remove LeadConnector (if present).
  • Return to BizStackPro and reconnect from scratch.
  • If catalog permissions aren’t granted, product syncing may fail or show errors.

Step 6 – Link Facebook Pages to BizStackPro Stores

  • Open your Shops configuration in the integration card.
  • Choose which BizStackPro Store maps to which Facebook Page.
  • Save your selections.

Step 7 – Control Product Syncing

Use the Shops tab to:

  • Enable/disable syncing for specific stores.
  • Toggle syncing per Facebook Page or Instagram Shop.
  • Pause syncing when you need to temporarily stop updates flowing to Meta.

Step 8 – Run Catalog-Based Ads

  • Open your shop in Meta Commerce Manager.
  • Go to Catalog > Items.
  • Select products to advertise.
  • Use the ad creation option (such as Advertise Set) to launch catalog-based campaigns.

Heads up: Recurring/subscription products typically won’t sync to Meta catalogs—plan to promote those using other campaign types.

Important Notes and Limitations

  • A product catalog must be linked to your Facebook Page for Shops to work.
  • Your Page category may need to be E-commerce Website (About > Contact and Basic Info).
  • Only one-time products are supported for sync. Recurring products cannot be synced.
  • If inventory tracking is off (or you allow selling out-of-stock items), Meta may default inventory to 999.
  • You can enable/disable syncing per store and per Page from the Shops tab.

Turn social followers into store customers

Sync your product catalog to Facebook and Instagram Shops, then run catalog-based ads to put your products in front of the right people.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I link multiple Facebook pages to one store?

Yes. The BizStackPro Facebook and Instagram integration supports using multiple Facebook Pages, and you can control product sync per page.

How do I handle recurring products?

Recurring products cannot sync to Facebook or Instagram Shops. Only one-time products are supported in Meta Commerce Manager.

What if my Facebook Page doesn't have the “E-commerce Website” category?

You can edit your Facebook Page About section and set the category to “E-commerce Website” under Contact and Basic Info to meet Meta’s requirements.

Why does my product inventory show as 999 in Facebook or Instagram?

When inventory tracking is disabled or you allow continuing to sell out-of-stock items, Meta defaults the product inventory to 999.

Can I temporarily disable product sync to Facebook and Instagram Shops?

Yes. You can toggle product sync on or off per store and per Page from the Shops tab in the BizStackPro Facebook & Instagram integration settings.
