Understand how BizStackPro course and membership triggers work inside the Workflow Builder—so you can automate actions based on lessons, products, offers, and user activity.
Managing online courses and memberships can quickly become overwhelming when businesses manually track lesson progress, unlock content, monitor logins, or assign access after every purchase or signup.
BizStackPro course and membership triggers allow workflows to start automatically based on student activity, including lesson progress, offer access, product access, memberships, and user login behavior.
Without properly configured triggers and filters, businesses may accidentally run automations for the wrong products, create inconsistent onboarding experiences, or fail to deliver timely follow-up and engagement.
This guide explains how course triggers work inside the Workflow Builder, how to apply filters correctly, and how to automate onboarding, access control, engagement, and progress tracking inside BizStackPro Courses.
Before building advanced course automations, it helps to understand how membership triggers, product access, lesson tracking, workflow filters, and user activity events work together inside BizStackPro Courses.
Courses and membership triggers let you start automations based on what someone does inside your membership area—like starting a lesson, completing a product, gaining access to an offer, or logging in.
This guide shows the full trigger list and how to add them to workflows, plus how to use filters so triggers only fire for the offers, products, or categories you choose.
Good to know: Without filters, most course triggers apply broadly (for example, across all products or offers). Add filters when you only want automation for a specific course, offer, or category.
Tip: If you need “granted” and “removed” behavior, include both triggers in the same workflow (or run separate workflows) so each event has the right follow-up actions.
Filters allow you to fine-tune when a trigger should fire.
Example: Filter Offer Access Granted to run only when access to a specific offer is granted. Without a filter, the workflow would run for every offer.
Use course triggers to welcome new members, unlock content, tag completions, and keep students moving—without manual work. Pair triggers with filters so each workflow fires only for the offers and products you choose.

Yes. You can use multiple membership-related triggers such as Offer Access Granted and Product Access Granted within the same workflow to run the same actions when either event occurs.
When setting up a trigger, click Add Filters and choose the specific offers, products, or categories you want the workflow to apply to.
Yes. You can configure separate triggers for Product Access Granted and Product Access Removed within the same workflow to handle different automation actions.
Yes. The User Login trigger fires each time a user logs in, making it useful for repeat actions such as welcome-back messages or activity tracking.
Course triggers work best when paired with the right BizStackPro plan and automation tools. Review the plans to make sure you have what you need, then build workflows that welcome members, unlock content, and track progress automatically.
Better onboarding. Higher completion.
