A Twilio number is a digital phone number that enables calling and messaging inside BizStackPro. Completing your Twilio setup helps ensure your phone system works reliably and your inbound calls route correctly.
Inside your Twilio account, go to the Console Dashboard and look for Project Info. You’ll need your Account SID and Auth Token.
Tip: Keep your Auth Token private. Treat it like a password and avoid sharing it in public or unsecured channels.

Important: Keeping timeouts under the recommended limits helps prevent call routing issues and voicemail failures.

In the Twilio Console Dashboard, look under Project Info. Click Show to reveal your Auth Token.
Some area codes have no available numbers. If this happens, try another nearby area code in the number search.
Go to Settings → My Staff, select the user, click Edit, then open Call & Voicemail Settings and choose the Twilio number from the dropdown.
Keep call timeout under 60 seconds in both Phone Number settings and User settings. If voicemail is assigned, keep it under 20 seconds.
Once your credentials are in place, you can claim a number, route inbound calls to staff, and fine-tune timeouts to reduce missed calls and voicemail issues.
