Outbound business calls are often ignored when customers do not recognize the number or assume the call may be spam or automated.
Verified Caller ID allows approved business numbers to display as the outbound caller ID so recipients see a familiar and verified number when calls are placed.
Using inconsistent or unverified caller IDs can reduce answer rates, create confusion for customers, and make business communication appear less trustworthy.
This guide explains how Verified Caller ID works in BizStackPro, how to verify a number, and how to assign it to outbound phone lines properly.
Before setting up a verified number, it helps to understand why businesses use Verified Caller ID in the first place.
Verified Caller ID lets your outbound calls display your own business number instead of a generic system number. This helps customers recognize you and improves the likelihood they’ll answer.
In your BizStackPro sub-account, go to Settings.
Click Phone Numbers to view your LC Phone settings and numbers.
In the Add Number area, choose Add Verified Caller ID.
Enter the phone number you want to use as caller ID, then click Verify Number. You’ll receive an automated call with a verification code.
Answer the verification call and enter the code shown in BizStackPro. Once confirmed, the number is added to your verified caller ID list.
Result: That verified number will now display as the caller ID for outbound calls made from that phone line.
Verified Caller ID makes your calls look legitimate and recognizable—helping improve answer rates and customer confidence.
