Learn why email sending may be suspended due to high hard bounce rates, how to resolve the issue, how long suspensions last, and how to prevent future deliverability problems.
Sometimes email campaigns suddenly stop sending after a large number of messages fail to reach recipients, especially when older or imported contact lists are involved.
BizStackPro monitors bounce activity to protect overall email deliverability and reduce the risk of spam-related issues across sending accounts and domains.
High bounce rates can damage sender reputation, interrupt automations, and prevent important emails from reaching valid contacts if the issue is not corrected quickly.
This guide explains what bounce suspensions mean, why they happen, how to restore sending access, and what practices help prevent future deliverability problems.
Before resolving a suspension, it helps to understand the different types of email bounces and what causes them.
A bounce happens when an email can’t be delivered and the receiving mail server rejects it. In BizStackPro, bounces generally fall into two categories:
BizStackPro monitors bounce rates to protect deliverability and maintain compliance with email providers. A suspension is most often triggered by high hard bounce rates (invalid/outdated addresses).
Rule of thumb: A healthy bounce rate is typically 0–3%. Rates above 5% are risky and may trigger temporary or permanent sending restrictions.
Only email sending is disabled. Other features (workflows, funnels, websites, SMS, calls, and reporting) remain available, but any workflow steps that rely on email won’t send until email is restored.
When sending is suspended, you’ll receive a compliance email describing what’s required to restore email access. The goal is to prove permission-based sending and clean up invalid addresses.
Goal: reduce invalid addresses, confirm consent, then resume sending with cleaner lists and safer volume.
Best practice: Warm up new sending domains and lists gradually—clean data + consistent behavior is what keeps inbox placement stable.
By providing your name and contact information, you are expressly consenting to receive communications from COMPANY_NAME or one of their licensed agents, which may include calls, text messages, and emails for marketing purposes. You may revoke this consent at any time. Carrier rates may apply.
Clean lists, clear consent, and gradual sending are the fastest path to fewer bounces and better inbox placement.

A hard bounce occurs when an email is returned because the recipient’s email address does not exist or is invalid.
Email sending is temporarily suspended for 24 hours. If this happens three times within seven days, sending is blocked until email validation is enabled.
Review recent sends, stop non-compliant workflows, validate contacts, and respond to the compliance email with proof of opt-in. Support will help complete reinstatement.
Validate email lists, set up a dedicated domain, use aligned sender emails, send emails in smaller batches, and use double opt-in to maintain clean sending practices.
A good bounce rate is typically between 0–3%. Rates above 5% may trigger temporary or longer sending restrictions.
Bounce suspensions are preventable. Validate your data, send to permission-based lists, and scale volume gradually to protect deliverability.
Cleaner lists. Safer sending.
